BYPASS
Bypass emerges from an observation that is both personal and collective. In contemporary Iranian society, bypass surgery has become an increasingly familiar part of everyday life, a medical response to blocked arteries, accumulated pressure, and the fragility of the human body. The exhibition adopts the term as a metaphor for broader experiences of survival, adaptation, and the search for alternative routes through damaged systems. At its core, Bypass is an exploration of endurance: the human capacity to reroute, recover, and continue moving forward when the original path is no longer available.
