The Inner Garden
After decades of painting the visible world, Soudabeh has turned inward. These flowers began in her own garden, but grew into expressions of memory, emotion and imagination. While many pieces were inspired by her garden at home, several works, including the Red Sister series, were created during her stay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This collection, which evolved over a period of eighteen months, carries different moods shaped by love, hope, grief and resilience in response to the tragic events that touched the people of Iran. “Through my work, I invite the viewer to enter the inner garden, where emotion, nature and the human spirit meet."
