Nastaran Mir- Sadegh
Nastaran Mirsadegh is an Iranian contemporary painter whose practice explores lived spaces, human relationships, and the tension between reality and reverie. After acquiring her BFA and an MFA in painting, she has been actively creating series of works, closely tied to her personal experiences.
Her works often revolve around architectural settings and rooms that challenge the boundaries between presence and absence, safety and anxiety. Through deliberate use of colour and carefully structured compositions, Mirsadegh creates spaces that invite an imaginative and psychological engagement with the viewer. Rather than relying on explicit storytelling, her paintings emphasize a state of suspension, and the direct encounter between body, space, and psyche.
Mirsadegh has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Iran, as well as internationally, including at The Mine Art Gallery in Dubai and Sahar K. Boluki in Canada. Her mysteriously surreal work is housed in numerous private collections.
